Lt. Colonel Robert C. Plaine was Commandant from 1970- 1982. He was by far the longest serving Commandant. .
The previous Commandant were Colonel Henry H. Church and Colonel Floyd H West. After Colonel Plaine left there were Colomel Haas Acker and There was actually an assistant commandant in 1958 and 1959 By the name of Major William H. Angel

All of us remember the countless hours of drill and preparation for parades. In the 70s we had to drill after school and om Saturday.
